REDMOND, Washington (Reuters) -- "We have developed advanced map search technology that will allow you to actually use your own finger as a pointing device in order to give directions to another person after you have read an industry compliant [Microsoft] map," said Xing Xie, a Microsoft researcher who is seen here demonstrating the technology.
It was noted that the "other person" must be in the same vicinity as the user, in visual contact with the user and have a recent Microsoft Vista Ultimate license in order to receive directions where a finger is used by another licensee of Vista.
Malicious hackers and other extremists have already breached this ingenious technology notes Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, "You can see the guy pointing."
