Peeking

Great for Seeing Hidden Objects!

Peeking

• Peeking is done in the Concept Editor by merely holding down the option key while hovering over an object.

• There are three types of objects at which one can peek:
   1. Objects that look like they're
   in Revolution, i.e., in the
   dimmed Backdrop
   2. An object listed in the Tree.
   3. An object indicated in a Tab

• When peeking at an object in the Backdrop, it appears "in place" atop the original object.

• When peeking at an object in the Tree or Tabs, it appears in a Concept Editor faux modal "window" at center screen "above" all else--with all else dimmed.

• Peeks performed while hovering over an element in the Backdropare not persistant and will go away when you release the option key.

• Peeking at objects in the Tree are persistant and will go away after clicking anywhere.

• Audio clips being played as result of a Peek can be stopped at any time with a click anywhere.
